Be part of putting on the American Lung Association’s Fight For Air Climb on Saturday, April 12, 2025, in downtown Springfield. There are many opportunities for volunteers on event day, ranging in a wide variety of tasks, each as equally important as the next. Volunteers will receive their assignments upon arrival at the event. Please let us know if there is any type of activity that you are unable to perform. During the volunteer meeting we will answer any questions you may have about your assignment. All volunteers will receive a free volunteer t-shirt.

Event Set-Up: Friday, April 11th from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Event Day: Saturday, April 12th from 7:00 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Upon arriving, please check in at the volunteer table in the lobby to receive your volunteer t-shirt. Once all volunteers have arrived, tasks will be assigned.
Parking is available in the attached parking garage off E Monroe Street, but there is also street parking and additional parking lots surrounding the building. Any fees associated with parking will be the volunteer’s responsibility.
Many volunteer tasks will require standing for long periods, so we recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes.
