Memorial Behavioral Health

Our behavioral services include crisis intervention, psychiatric and medical services, screening and assessment, outpatient therapy, case management, group education and support, employment services, as well as residential care. MHCCI also provides evidence-based treatment to children and adolescents with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. We also have a psychiatric response team in three area hospital emergency departments, and are members of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline network. We have trained professionals who are available to help deal with the major emotional crises of life 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Our rehabilitation and support services for individuals with a developmental disability include community and on-site employment, developmental training, community support and 24-hour supervised residential care.

MHCCI is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, which sets high standards of excellence for mental health and rehabilitative care.

In August 2011, Mental Health Centers of Central Illinois (MHCCI) was  notified that it was one of four organizations that will receive $2 million in  funding over the next three years to implement the Children’s MOSAIC Project -  a plan to transform the way mental healthcare is provided in Springfield. The  grant is funded by the Illinois Children’s Healthcare Foundation (ILCHF).

The Children’s MOSAIC Project provides a framework and time-limited resources  to support our community as we work toward the goal of developing a system to  ensure that our children have appropriate services and supports when they are  needed and where they are needed.
