Volunteer: Recovery Client Care Program Service Associate- Need in several local areas

This position supports the Regional Disaster Cycle Services department. The Recovery Services Client Care Program allows the Red Cross to rapidly meet disaster-caused needs by enabling clients to apply and receive financial assistance and/or community resources. The Client Care Program Service Associate supports the recovery of disaster affected individuals, households, and communities by providing referrals, advocacy, and financial assistance through RC Care (case management system).

Blood drive volunteer- Blood drive volunteer also known as BDA- It is a customer service -based position it is an opportunity to greet folks that come in to donate. Help them check in, answer any questions they may have. They also offer food and drinks if needed. It is a position that just helps the donor feel comfortable, especially if they are a first-time donor. Requirements are typically, 1 shift a month, but weekday availability is needed. It is a flexible position. If you are a people person it may be a good fit! We can talk about local drives in your area.

Duty officer- dispatch - these volunteers take an on call shift of our disaster line, and then help to dispatch out our disaster volunteers . It’s a virtual role with time commitment of 4 four hr on call shifts a month. Comfortable with using technology and a casework and dispatch system. Calls are local to your area
