When it comes to Career and College Exploration OR Youth Employment, interviewing skills are critical!
On May 3rd we are hosting our first-ever Mock Interview event for Juniors and Seniors within the AVID programs of Springfield Public Schools, District 186.
Helping children learn, achieve, and succeed while engaging families and communities is our vision for our Education work, and we would love for you to be a part of this.
Our goal? Recruit enough volunteers to pair two awesome community volunteers to each amazing student. Signing up for multiple shifts helps us tremendously in achieving this goal.
You can volunteer to support a local student right from your desk! Just click "respond" to sign up for this event.
To protect our participants, all volunteers will be screened with a background check through the school district, using these forms, including a photo ID.
Once you complete your forms, submit them to mbaker@uwcil.org, await further instructions which will come to you via email in April before the event.
Please register before April 8, 2021 so that background checks can be completed in time.
