Help get local summer programs off to a great start by providing some much-needed school supplies!
Local organizations that will benefit include:
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Illinois
- Compass for Kids
- Camp Kindergarten a program of Springfield Public Schools
- Springfield Urban League, and
- Springfield YMCA
Stop by the United Way office between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 1st, 2021 with any of the following supplies to donate:
- Pencils, Markers, Crayons, Whiteboard Markers, Highlighters and Colored Pencils
- Composition Notebooks/journals
- Loose-leaf paper, graph paper
- Pocket Folders
- Glue, Glue Sticks, construction paper
- Scissors (especially children’s scissors)
- Clear Rulers
- Index cards
- Erasers
- Backpacks
- Pencil cases
- Mini whiteboards
- Individual Snacks, bottled water, ziplock bags,
- Tape (scotch, duck, packing)
- Playground supplies (balls, chalk, jump rope, etc.)
