Volunteers

Local Non-Profit Agencies

• Volunteers may sign up as individuals or as part of a team by completing a short registration form (link below) that includes a waiver and photo release; please indicate on the registration form if an alternate date and time will be considered.
• Team:  all individuals must complete the registration form, but will note their team or organization name, team leader name, and team leader contact information on the registration form.
• Individuals and teams will then be assigned a volunteer opportunity that best fits the information given in the registration form. 
• Project assignments and details will be emailed to participants at least one week prior to Day of Action.  Examples of past volunteer assignments include painting, cleaning, outdoor spring cleanup, sorting files, making crafts/greeting cards for distribution to agency clients, stuffing folders for events, and other similar activities. 
• Volunteers receive a Day of Action t-shirt to wear while volunteering and the feeling of satisfaction that comes from taking action to help out our community!

• Any local non-profit agency may submit a project proposal; all proposals must comply with the Day of Action Project Agreement, which can be downloaded by clicking here or copy and paste the following link into your web browser: https://bit.ly/3xWumxi.
• To submit a proposal, please follow the steps listed on the 2nd page of the Day of Action Project Agreement.
• Please allow one to two business days for a response to proposals.
