Who We Are
To fulfill the call of James 1:27 "Pure and faultless religion is to care for the orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world".
Our desire is to recruit, educate, and support those desiring to become foster or adoptive parents and to provide a safe, loving, Christ-centered environment for foster children to live as long as needed.
What We Do
The James Project consists of three main ministries: Call 1:27, James Place, and Closet 1:27
Call 1:27 recruits, educates and supports those desiring to become foster or adoptive parents and those who are already following that call.
James Place is a home that takes in foster children providing them with a long term, Christ-centered home environment as long as needed until they return home or are adopted.
Closet 1:27 fills the need many foster children have when coming into care and not having the necessities and clothing needed. We provide clothing, toiletries, and baby items/furniture to those coming into care or transitioning to a new home.
